welcome to my practice

"this turned out to be the thing that saved me: the knowledge that I could get back by myself"

- Ann Patchett, Tom Lake

When we learn to make meaning of our experiences, and to weave connections between our thoughts and our emotions, we become our own agents of change. We cannot, afterall, change other people, nor are we always in control of our environments. This is where, I believe, therapy can be a transformative and empowering tool. Yet, even in New York City where I am based, the stigma and shame around going to therapy still surprises me.

I try to meet any hesitation or uncertainty around starting therapy with warmth and understanding, bringing my authentic self into our work together while also trusting that you are the expert of your own experiences. I see myself as a guide and a mirror, helping you to better see yourself.
